Due to the coronavirus pandemic, thousands of couples across the country have been left with no option but to postpone their wedding, and Mary has added her name to a recent letter calling on the Government to waive the new Notice of Marriage fees that would be required if they are unable to get married within a year of the original notice being issued.

This move would mean that many couples who are already facing financial difficulty as a result of the pandemic would not have the extra worry of additional fees should their wedding take longer than a year to rearrange. You can read the full letter below:
