Mary was pleased to have the opportunity recently to put her name to the call to Chancellor of the Exchequer, Rishi Sunak, to support charities and voluntary organisations, many of whom are on the frontline in the battle versus coronavirus. The National Council for Voluntary Organisations (NCVO) predict that there will be a £4.3bn loss to the sector in the next 12 weeks and that figure could be higher.
